Scoring Categories
Ticket to Ride scores routes as you claim them, then settles destination tickets and the longest route bonus at the end. Unfinished tickets often decide the winner, so count them carefully.
Routes
Number input · min 0
Points for each route you claimed, by length: 1 train = 1, 2 = 2, 3 = 4, 4 = 7, 5 = 10 and 6 = 15 points.
Tickets
Number input
Add the value of every destination ticket you completed and subtract the value of every ticket you did not.
Longest Route
Number input · 0–10
10 points to the player with the longest continuous path of trains (base game). Tied players each get the bonus.
Common scoring mistakes
- Adding a ticket that isn't actually connected — check the full chain of routes.
- Forgetting to subtract incomplete tickets.
- Scoring a 6-train route as 12 instead of 15.
