Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MeepleShelf, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

MeepleShelf is a board game companion platform that provides score tracking tools, a blog with board game content, an optional email newsletter, and related features. Some features may require account registration. Newsletter subscription is entirely optional and uses double opt-in — you can unsubscribe at any time via the one-click link in every newsletter email.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide a valid email address when registering
• One account per person — duplicate accounts may be removed
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Submit malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
• Interfere with or disrupt the service

Community Submissions (Player Aids, House Rules, Turkish Localizations, PnP Library)

When you submit a player aid, house rule, Turkish localization entry, PnP library entry or any other community contribution, you warrant that (a) you either created the content yourself or have explicit permission from the rights holder to publish it on MeepleShelf, and (b) the submission does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. By submitting, you grant MeepleShelf a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, distribute and (for player aids and PnP entries) make the file available for download under the terms shown on the submission's page. You retain ownership of your submission and may delete it at any time from your profile; we may also remove submissions that violate these terms or that we receive a valid takedown request for. MeepleShelf is not the publisher or rights holder of officially Turkish-localized board games — the Turkish Localization tracker indexes public information for community reference, and listed publisher names are not endorsements.

5. Content

Blog content is created and managed by MeepleShelf administrators. Game scores and session data created through the score tracker belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your game data.

6. Data and Local Storage

Score tracker data is stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser data will permanently delete this information. We are not responsible for data loss due to browser storage clearing.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep MeepleShelf available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
