Scoring Categories
The Castles of Burgundy is scored throughout the game, so most of your points are already on the track after five phases. End-of-game scoring adds silverlings, leftover goods and your knowledge tiles.
Silverlings
Number input · min 0
At the end of the game, 1 point for every silverling.
Goods Shipped
Number input · min 0
Points you scored when you shipped goods during the game.
Animals (Meadows)
Number input · min 0
Each time you place an animal tile, you score every animal of that type in the same pasture.
Buildings (Yellow)
Number input · min 0
Knowledge Tiles
Number input · min 0
End-of-game points from the knowledge tiles that score at the end.
Region Bonuses
Number input · min 0
Completing a region scores by its size: 1 tile = 1, 2 = 3, 3 = 6, 4 = 10, 5 = 15, 6 = 21, 7 = 28, 8 = 36 points, plus a phase bonus of 10, 8, 6, 4 or 2 in phases A to E.
Common scoring mistakes
- Scoring only the new animal tile instead of every animal of that type in the pasture.
- Forgetting the phase bonus when completing a region.
